I just got the new MacbookPro Retina 15' with the 750m vid card.

Purchased Jan 9, 2013


I have a Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit disc (not an upgrade disc) from my PC about 2 years ago.


I opened bootcamp and loaded the files from BootCamp5.zip onto the USB Flash drive (note: I've tired both USB2.0 and USB3.0)

I have a super drive optical external purchased with laptop.


I selected install windows from bootcamp.


It said something about USB stick contains bootable file, blah blah we need to disable this functionallity, this will not remove any files. I selected OK if I did not it would not continue to install.


I partitioned and installed Windows. Everything ran smooth and it loaded windows desktop.


Once there, the internet won't work, and USB flash drive isn't recongized,nor are any USB devices that are all working.


I have use of keyboard and mouse though.


When I got to device manager - other devices - multimedia controller, network controller, pci simple communications controller, sm bus controller, USB controller ALL are Yellow Exclimation points.


What do I do, this is so frustrating !

I installed Windows 7 on a Lenovo T400 laptop. In the Device Manager, the only piece of unrecognized hardware is a 'PCI Simple Communications Controller'. Does anybody know what driver I need for this?

I also just realized I have the same problem on my T400 running Windows 7 x64, luckily I found a solution. Looks like those devices are related to the Intel Advanced Management Technology in the BIOS.

The driver can be found on the IBM support website.
