Iconcepts Game Fury Pc Controller Drivers
I have an old Microsoft game, Fury3, that I still like to kill a little time playing occaisionally. I just got a new PC with Win7 Ultimate and am trying to get Fury3 going on it (so glad this is the kind of issues I am having, most of my move to Win7 has been surprisingly smooth).
So for the basics I have the following:
HP HPE-8 Tower PC w/hex core i7, 12GB RAM
Win Ultimate 64-bit, SP1
- Win VXP (virtual XP)
Logitech Attack 3 Joystick - USB attached
Logitech 64-bit driver
- tried 32 bit driver also, in Win7 and VXP
In Win7 Logitech diags see the joystick and another game I downloaded to test the joystick with work. In Win VXP no matter what I do the system does not see the joystick at all, and no matter what driver mix I try.
I loaded the logitech 32-bit driver in VXP and it installed just fine but when it scanned for joysticks it sees nothing. The Device Manager says the driver can't be loaded (Code 39)
Anyway back on the Win7 side, the Joystick works fine except for Fury 3, which I also can't get to install so I copyed the CD to the disk and found Fury3.exe and fired it up to see what would happen and it runs, just does not see the joystick, keyboard controls work fine, just no fun to play that way.
So any suggestions on how I might find out what is going on in Win7 and/or Win7 VXP and this combination?
