Abstract
This study aimed to identify the values of Islamic education in the novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2 by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy. In addition, research also identifies the relevance of the values of Islamic teachings in the novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2 by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy on Islamic education.In the research design, this studi is using hermeneutic approach with library research. The research subject is the novel of Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2. The reason for choosing the novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2 is based on no research done by using novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2 and Many content of Islamic teachings in the novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2. The data collected through identified novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2 and browsing. While the data analysis using content analysis. In this case will be described and identified of Islamic education values contained in the novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2 and identified the relevanced of the values of Islamic teachings with Islamic education.These results of this study indicates that there are novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2 contains four values of Islamic teachings. The four values are: (a) Aqidah Value (Faith), (2) Sharia Value (Worship and Muamalah), (3) Muscular Value, and (4) Jihad Value. Then there are the relevanced of Islamic education values on Islamic education, in terms of teaching materials and goals
