Hi all,
I just spent the last two hours trying to figure out why my newly built computer does not have have drivers installed for the 'SM Bus Controller.'
I am running a Gigabyte Z97N-WIFI with Windows 8.1 64-bit.
What I've tried to do:
Install the Intel INF Update from Gigabyte's Support Site.
Install the Intel Chipset Setup for the z97 chipset from Intel's Support Site.
Uninstall the device from device manager, and let Windows Update do its thing.
Nothing has worked for me so far, so I was wondering: Is it even worth trying to get this working? If so, how??
