I bought a new external HDD, and it won't allow me to copy any large files or it will disconnect and re-connect automatically. It is a 3.0 Fujitsu. After some research, I found out something called 'UASP' and 'BOT' types, and my HDD is the 'UASP' type and won't be supported by my PC. It will only work in 2.0 mode.
Frustrated, I messed around and guess what? I accidentally uninstalled the 'Intel USB 3.0 Extensible Host Controller'... Now it is worse. My other 'BOT' 3.0 HDD will not copy @ 3.0 speeds anymore. I have no idea how to install the driver back. Tried system restore to the earliest point. No luck. Did intensive research for 5 straight hours. No luck. Please, you gotta help me.

1. I am wayyy desperate and broken right now- tell me something about 'power settings' 'batteriez' 'blah amps blah' and I swear I will nuke the whole universe, lol. I have a 700 Watts PSU, and the 3.0 cable I am using has two ends (one extra for aux. power). I am 5000% sure that it is not power issues.
2. The HDD IS NEW. It is a fujitsu 1000 GB USB 3.0
3. System restore won't work.
4. I am willing to be controlled by TeamViewer for live help. Anyone who has TeamViewer can help me out. You can contact me for an appointment

Usb Controller Driver Windows Vista
Re: Ugh Deleted usb enhanced host controller--can't use mouse/keyboard. Even if that controller was accidentally deleted it is automatically reinstalled on a re-boot of Windows. However some generic Windows drivers don't fit the bill always so re-install your MBoard drivers and re-boot. ' Anyone who goes to a psychiatrist should have his head examined. Deleted usb drivers device manager Hi, I have been having a problem with USB and Firewire connections on my HP XW8400 PC. If it had said that I would.
The USB controller is part of the motherboard chipset support, so installing the motherboard drivers (specifically the Southbridge chipset) will get your laptop USB ports working again. Since you have a laptop, the drivers have to be very specific; typically only from your laptop manufacturer.
Accidentally Deleted The Usb Controller Driver Windows 10
Am on windows 7, is a computer I built myself.
So, long story short, was trying to fix my iPhone not syncing to my computer and I overwrote my USB hub in device manager with Apple Mobile Device drivers...now my USB ports don't work.
Sorta lucked out that I had kept a full install of windows on my second HDD, so am booting off of that now and things work, but would love to be able to switch back to my SSD.
Any way that I can fix the drivers on the SSD via my HDD so that I can use my mouse and keyboard again?
